About this design

Somebody asked if you were "really doing a party." You were already booking the photographer friend and buying the number candle. The dog turns four once, thank you.

What you get

The Comfort Colors 1717 in heavyweight 6.1 oz cotton, garment-dyed so the color looks lived-in from the first wear. It's cut with a relaxed fit and knit without side seams, so it hangs straight instead of twisting around your ribs. Double-needle stitching on every seam means it survives the party, the cleanup, and about two hundred washes after.

Who it is for

The dog parent with a shared calendar invite titled "Gus Birthday (Sat 2pm)." You and your partner split the cost of the agility class and the orthopedic bed and you'd do it again tomorrow. This is your party uniform.

Care

Machine wash cold, tumble dry on low, and skip the bleach. If it needs a press, use low heat, and keep it out of the dry cleaner.

Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
Do not bleach
Tumble dry: low heat
Iron, steam or dry: low heat
Do not dryclean

Key features

Heavyweight 6.1 oz cotton that doesn't go see-through when a wet nose finds your hip
Garment-dyed color with a soft, broken-in texture before you've even washed it
No side seams, so it hangs clean instead of spiraling sideways by noon
Ten colors, including Butter, Chalky Mint, Pepper and Wine, so you can match the frosting
