Best Dog Mom (bestdogmom.net) is owned and operated by Absolutely Elite LLC. This page explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. If you have a question, email connect@bestdogmom.net.
What we collect
When you order. Checkout runs on Stripe. You give your name, email, shipping address and payment details there. Stripe processes your card, and we never see or store the full card number.
When you contact us. We keep your email and what you wrote so we can answer and follow up on your order.
When you upload art or personalize an item. We store the images and text you submit. A person on our team reviews uploaded art before anything is printed.
When you leave a review. We publish the name you enter and your review. We do not publish your email.
When you browse. Your cart is saved in your own browser, not on our servers. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site. They collect things like pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, device type and approximate location. Clarity can record how a page was used, such as mouse movement and taps. It does not record what you type into checkout, which happens on Stripe.
How we use it
We use your information to make and deliver your order, answer your questions and send emails about your order. After delivery we may send one email asking you to review what you bought. We also use analytics to fix problems and improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for other companies' advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Stripe, to take payment.
- Printify and its US print partners, who get your name and shipping address to print and ship your order.
- Mailgun, which sends our order and shipping emails.
- Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described above.
- Google Customer Reviews, only if you choose to opt in on the order confirmation page. Google may then email you a short survey about your order.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect against fraud.
Cookies and analytics choices
Analytics load only after you first tap, click or press a key on the site. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland have analytics switched off by default. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The store still works if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to handle returns and meet tax and accounting rules. We keep uploaded art for as long as it is needed to print and reprint your order. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email connect@bestdogmom.net and we will reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
