About this design

Nobody plans a foster fail. You sign the paperwork, you say the words "temporary placement" out loud, and then he falls asleep on your chest. That was the whole negotiation.

What you get

A square pillow with a 100% spun polyester cover that holds its shape and does not wrinkle. The design is printed on both sides, so it looks right whichever way it lands. The insert is recycled polyester and up to three inches larger than the cover, so it sits full instead of flat.

It ships as a cover plus a vacuum-packed insert. Unzip the concealed zipper, add the insert, and fluff it into shape.

Who it is for

The foster fail. The person with a folder of adoption photos on their phone and a name on a microchip that they picked out at 11pm. Also great for the friend who keeps saying "this one is definitely going to a forever home," bless her heart.

Care

Take the cover off, pre-treat stains with warm soapy water, and machine wash at up to 104°F on a normal cycle. Tumble dry low, skip the bleach and the dry cleaner, and fluff it back into shape.

Remove the pillow cover. Pre-treat the stains with soft cloth or bristle brush that had been soaked in warm soapy water. Machine wash, max 40°C (104°F), normal cycle. Do not bleach, tumble dry on low, do not dry-clean. Iron, steam, or dry low heat only. Fluff to reshape when assembling it back together.
